The work was excellent, the conduct professional. The project included window replacement and enclosure of some areas inside and outside the building. Mr. Paul’s workers were polite, expert and meticulous in their craft. This is not surprising as Mr. Paul maintains a high code of ethics regarding his company and its services. He works closely with his people on site, inspects as works is being performed to insure guaranteed satisfactory completion to the client and any official inspectors as necessary.

We contracted with A Paul Contracting after an extensive search for contractors and remediation companies to remove lead paint in our old farmhouse that we bought in Colts Neck. From top to bottom A Paul Contracting is a top notch company. They were, by far, the most professional, personable and hardest working group of people we’ve hired to do work at our home. Louis, the owner, responded promptly and thoroughly to all inquiries, estimates were clear and straightforward, and the work they performed was outstanding. I recommend them without an ounce of hesitation.
Louis, the owner, came for the initial walk-through. Of all the contractors we met, we liked and took to Louis the most because of his open, friendly and personable qualities. He listened and understood immediately what we wanted. This was an extensive project and involved removing 100 year old windows with weighted pulleys, removing the lead and putting the windows back into place. This is no small feat, and most contractors did not even want to attempt to do it. We also had them remove lead paint in tile, door jams, and everywhere in between. The work done was impeccable.
Importantly, Louis and his team are reliable and trustworthy–they show up when they say they will; they do excellent work; they explain everything; and they leave the house clean at the end of every day. We have renovated other houses and used other contractors—they are usually never reliable, and leave the house a mess at the end of the day, which is a nightmare when have two year old twins. However, Louis and his team cleaned up everything at the end of each day and always showed up. We were so happy with their work that we kept adding projects on to the list of renovations because we did not want to let him go to another job until we finished all our projects, which included renovating a bathroom, fixing ceilings, fixing plumbing, painting, installing trim, crown molding and other work.
Louis and his team are almost like family at this point; I trust them around my kids, my wife, and my dog and their work is truly amazing. I highly recommend this company.

A Paul Contracting has done multiple small and medium sized projects for our church over the last several years and we have always been pleased with the quality of the work and the manner in which it was performed. We value Louis’ positive outlook and genial interaction with our parishioners and tenants.
In 2017 Louis and his crew undertook a major project to create a new code compliant infant room for church and nursery school usage and to restore our 1912 Parish Hall. Architectural elements which had been hidden by a suspended ceiling are renewed and again visible, including the exposed rafters, wood trimmed skylight and leaded glass windows in the early 20th century Craftsmen style. Louis shared our dedication to make the space look as close to the original as possible and put forth extraordinary effort to make it happen.
